How it works

  1. 1

    Participate

A person registers interest, or a supporter recommends an eligible individual, with informed consent.

  2. 2

    Verification

TPP checks eligibility, basic details, and conflict-of-interest declarations before anything is shown publicly.

  3. 3

    Public engagement

Verified profiles may be shown with consent. Public preferences are non-binding and no totals or rankings are displayed.

  4. 4

    Assessment

The competent TPP authority reviews merit, integrity, service record, and organizational need.

  5. 5

    Lawful decision

Any candidacy or appointment follows party rules and the law. Elections and constitutional appointments remain with the official process.

Non-binding

  • MLA

An MLA is elected by voters in an official election conducted under Indian election law—not by any party platform or online poll.

  • Chief Minister

The Chief Minister is appointed through the constitutional process after commanding the confidence of the Legislative Assembly.

  • Ministers

Ministers are appointed constitutionally and their number is limited under Article 164(1A)—Punjab’s Council of Ministers cannot exceed that constitutional limit.

  • This platform

A public preference poll or nomination on the TPP platform does not constitute an official election, appointment, party ticket, or guarantee of office.

Privacy and safeguards

  • Clear, informed consent is taken before any information is collected, and only information necessary for the stated purpose is requested.
  • Aadhaar numbers, voter-card numbers, bank details, passwords, and unnecessary identity documents are never requested through a public form.
  • Phone numbers, email addresses, residential addresses, and internal assessments remain private and are never published.
  • No profile, photograph, biography, or nomination is published without the person’s authorization and consent.
  • Applicants can review, correct, or withdraw their information at any time, and can see their own submission status privately.
  • Anti-spam protection, rate limiting, moderation, reporting, and secure administrative access apply to every submission.
  • Vote totals, rankings, endorsements, and “winning” labels are not displayed, and paid rankings or purchased endorsements are not permitted.
  • Unverified allegations, criminal-history claims, caste, religion, medical information, and other sensitive personal data are not published.

Important disclaimer

A preference, opinion, nomination, or expression of support submitted through this platform does not automatically make anyone a Chief Minister, MLA, minister, official candidate, or party office-bearer. Every decision will remain subject to the Constitution of India, applicable election laws, eligibility requirements, approved TPP rules, verification, and authorization by the competent authority.

Message from the President

TPP believes that every eligible Punjabi should have an opportunity to advance in politics. No office will be granted automatically; responsibility must be earned through merit, integrity, public confidence, and a transparent democratic process.
