Guru Nanak Dev Ji taught the equality of all human beings, honest work, sharing with others, compassion and service. These teachings inspire the party to oppose caste discrimination, social injustice, corruption and the unequal treatment of citizens.
Guru Hargobind Sahib Ji’s principle of Miri-Piri represents the connection between spiritual responsibility and responsible public leadership. It inspires leadership that protects justice, human dignity and the rights of the people while remaining guided by morality and service.
Guru Gobind Singh Ji strengthened the principles of equality, dignity, courage, justice and discipline. The tradition of Khande-Bate-di-Pahul inspires freedom from caste discrimination, fearless defence of justice and disciplined service to humanity.
