Responsibilities

  • Connect residents with party programmes and grievance forms.

  • Represent ward residents before the city committee.

General eligibility applies to every committee level.

General eligibility

  • Minimum age 18 years.
  • Indian citizen and ordinarily connected with Punjab.
  • Must accept the TPP constitution, policies and code of conduct.
  • Must not hold an active position in another political party.
  • Must provide accurate personal, educational and organisational information.
  • Must agree to document and background verification.
  • Must maintain discipline and protect confidential party information.
  • Submitting an application creates no automatic right to appointment.

Preferred qualifications

Punjab State positions

Graduate or equivalent preferred

Leadership, administration, public service, professional or political experience with good communication and organisational skills.

District and Constituency positions

12th pass or graduate preferred

District or constituency-level organisational experience and knowledge of local public issues.

Block and City positions

Minimum 10th or 12th pass preferred

Community coordination and team-management experience.

Village, Ward and Booth positions

Basic literacy and communication ability

Good local reputation, ability to work with residents and volunteers, smartphone and basic digital skills preferred.

An experienced community worker is never rejected only because of lower formal education. The authorised committee may consider proven experience, public service and leadership ability.
